The difficult part for me on blogging

in #writing • 3 days ago

It's been 9+ years for me making blogs on the platform. My blogs are mostly on travels, art, healing, psychology and leisure. I enjoy writing and sharing stories every day. There is so much to write about and share, especially from my travel adventures. I do not find it difficult to write but the most challenging part for me in writing a blog is the starting lines of the blog. It's difficult to come up with an appropriate start. It should look like the beginning and the person who is reading it should feel like, it is the beginning of the story and it should not feel an abrupt or an in-between beginning.

So, as much as it's difficult to phrase the right beginning lines, it is also equally difficult with the ending lines. Sometimes I do not find the right ending line, especially when it's a visual post. There are lot of people who quickly browse through the blog and for them the beginning and the ending lines are the most important ones to get the gist of the blog, because that's what builds interest for them if they should read the whole blog thoroughly or not. If the starting lines are not getting the audience's attention, then it means that it's a weak blog.

This is just not for blog but for anything that we write. When an author writes a book, they try to make the first few pages as much as possible interesting so that the reader gets glued to the book, or even when a film is made, the beginning is made impactful so that the audience gets engaged in the movie. For me getting this right beginning and ending is always a challenge. There are times when I write it multiple times just to get the right one.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
