노력은 헛되지 않았다, 필리핀에서 피어나는 자생의 기적

참 오랜 시간이 걸렸다.
하나의 파트너를 제대로 키워내고 스스로 서게 만드는 일이 이토록 깊은 인내를 요구하는 것일 줄은 매번 겪으면서도 새삼스럽다.
하지만 마침내 그 길고 길었던 기다림 끝에 국경을 넘어선 해외 파트너들이 애터미의 진짜 가치를 알아보고 움직이기 시작했다.

그동안 온 정성과 공을 들여왔던 필리핀 파트너들이 이제는 누군가의 도움 없이도 스스로 성장해나가는 모습을 보여주고 있다.
최근에는 정말 가슴 벅찬 소식이 들려왔다.
한 파트너가 자신이 근무하는 병원의 원장을 회원으로 가입시킨 것이다.

놀랍게도 그 원장님은 애터미의 가치를 제대로 알아보고 제품을 직접 구매해 애용하기 시작했으며, 다양한 제품들을 스스로 체험하고 있다.
그리고 이제는 단순한 소비자를 넘어 애터미 비즈니스 자체에 깊은 관심을 보이기 시작했다.
이 얼마나 감격스럽고 고대하던 성과인가.

돌이켜보면 수년 전 인도네시아와 필리핀 시장의 문을 두드리며 수많은 제품을 지원하고 PV를 후원했던 기억들이 스쳐 지나간다.
당시에는 거대한 멤버십을 구축하겠다는 열정으로 가득 찼으나, 현실은 생각처럼, 계획처럼 흘러가지 않았다.
가장 중요한 '자생력'이 뿌리내리지 못했기 때문이다.
밑 빠진 독에 물을 붓는 것처럼 수년간 쏟아부은 모든 노력과 자본이 그대로 물거품이 되어 사라지는가 싶어 속을 태우기도 했다.

그러나 포기하지 않고 지켜온 시간은 기어이 답을 주었다.
천천히, 하지만 단단하게 뿌리를 내리던 필리핀 파트너들이 드디어 스스로 살아남고 성장하는 자생력을 갖추게 된 것이다.
과거의 모든 고단함과 염려를 한순간에 날려버릴 만큼 아주 고무적이고 희망찬 변화다.
결국 진심을 담아 심은 씨앗은 거친 환경 속에서도 때가 되면 반드시 스스로 싹을 틔우고 단단한 나무로 자라난다는 확신을 다시금 얻는다.
감사한 일이고 축복이 아닐 수 없다.

No Effort Is Ever Wasted: The Miracle of Self-Reliance Blooming in the Philippines

It has taken a truly long time. Nurturing a partner and helping them stand on their own two feet requires an immense amount of patience, a truth that feels brand new every time I experience it. But finally, after a long, arduous wait, our overseas partners are truly understanding the value of Atomy and have begun to move.

The Philippine partners, whom I have poured my heart and soul into, are now showing that they can grow independently without relying on outside help. Just recently, I received some deeply moving news. One of my partners successfully registered the head director of the hospital where they work.

Remarkably, the director recognized the true value of Atomy, purchased the products, and became an avid user—personally experiencing various lines. And now, moving beyond being a simple consumer, the director is beginning to show a keen interest in the Atomy business itself. What a long-awaited and deeply moving achievement this is.

Looking back, memories flash by of when I first knocked on the doors of the Indonesian and Philippine markets years ago, supporting them with countless products and backing them with PV. Back then, I was fueled by the passion to build a massive membership, but reality did not go as thought or planned. The most critical element, 'self-reliance,' failed to take root. It felt like pouring water into a bottomless pit, and I anxiously watched as years of poured-in effort and resources threatened to vanish into thin air.

Yet, the time spent without giving up eventually brought an answer. The Philippine partners, who were slowly but firmly taking root, have finally gained the self-reliance to survive and thrive on their own. This is an incredibly encouraging and hopeful transformation, enough to blow away all past hardships and anxieties in a single moment. Once again, I gain the absolute conviction that a seed planted with genuine sincerity will always find a way to sprout and grow into a sturdy tree—no matter how harsh the environment, when the time is right. It is a blessing and a cause for gratitude.
