Yah.. the traditional minded ones definitely wants to make their "money's worth" by seeing their employees in the office. Perhaps it could also be because they have paid for the office space hmm. Haha.
There are more options for remote or hybrid jobs these days since the pandemic. Those old fashioned ones can learn to be more flexible. But of course, certain jobs required the staffs to be there no matter what.
