Blooming Hibiscus
Few months back I had got the hibiscus plant from the nursery, it was a small one and I had shared it also here some pictures. But now it has grown up quite big and with that the flowers coming on it are also big. This is what I had a few days back, such a beauty. Everyday there are 2 to 3 flowers coming out. Their lifespan is short. If they are small ones, by evening only they start withering out, and if they are big ones like what I have right now growing, then they will last for 2 days. Unlike roses, which can last for many days, these wither out very fast, but they look beautiful while the time they are in full bloom.
The top one is from the previous day and you can see the difference in the freshness between the two.
I normally do not pluck my flowers, but this one I do, because it's life is so short. I do not pluck them in the morning time, towards the end of the day I do it and then place it in a glass of water, like that they last till next day morning.
