Respect the Learning Process
Daybook September 21
Learning is not a temporary stage that ends once someone becomes competent. In nursing, competence depends partly on the capacity to remain open, notice gaps, ask and listen to questions, revise understanding, and continue learning as evidence and situations change. Respecting the learning process does not mean lowering standards. It means protecting the conditions through which people can reach and sustain those standards without hiding uncertainty or being humiliated for not yet knowing.
