Learning Beyond the Classroom, Responsibility Beyond the Assignment
Daybook October 8
Digital learning can extend nursing education beyond the classroom by connecting students with authentic professional audiences and wider communities of practice. Visibility may increase attention to quality, integrity, and professional responsibility, but visibility is not inherently educational. Public exposure can also create privacy risks, self-censorship, comparison, and permanent digital traces. The educational task is therefore not to make everything public, but to design the right level of audience, consent, privacy, and accountability for each stage of learning.
