A new attempt
Assalamu Alaikum
I have been on this platform for quite some time, though I only learned about the official team behind it about a year ago. I was part of various communities previously, but I couldn't quite work with the freedom I desired. I am a video editor capable of working across both PC and mobile platforms, and I frequently share editing tutorials here. While I know efforts are being made to improve this platform, it still lags significantly behind other social media platforms.
I believe the reason for this is that different sectors are not treated individually; instead, everything is lumped together. For instance, regarding the gaming sector—we should separate it into a distinct community. Furthermore, top-ranked gamers or those who consistently achieve high rankings could be awarded special titles; this would incentivize people to play the games and create gaming-related content.
I consider both videos and written posts important here. Since video features have been introduced and have improved significantly, we should certainly shift towards video content; however, I will elaborate later on how we can preserve the platform's legacy—its culture of writing. Currently, the "media" aspect is limited to serious content or personal life stories; there is a lack of funny or purely entertaining videos—essentially, there is no dedicated comedy or entertainment community here.
Next, let’s move on to another sector: creativity. Creativity encompasses various categories such as photography, writing, video editing, innovation, drawing, singing, and so on. My primary goal is to make this community the largest of its kind.
I am not aware if Steemit officials have any official communities of this nature, but I would suggest that they create a few such communities themselves and manage them directly. Let me explain why I am proposing this: not everyone would be able to post in these communities, though anyone could join, learn, and leave comments. Selected individuals would be chosen to run them; these individuals must possess deep knowledge of their respective fields and the ability to teach others.
For instance, I have seen many people in this community working on graphic design, coding, and photography. Personally, I share video editing tutorials and updates on Artificial Intelligence—including how to use prompts—on this platform.
The selected individuals would work to ensure others benefit from their expertise and would teach these subjects to the community. Readers would gain knowledge and could share their issues via comments; since comments now receive support, a large number of people would likely engage by commenting.
We will categorize each sector separately, establishing distinct communities for each, populated by writers. This setup will serve as an inspiration for other content creators to aspire to join these communities. Readers from the creative community will be encouraged to showcase their own skills—whether in other communities or on their personal blogs—and receive support in doing so. Eventually, they will become skilled enough to contribute to these communities themselves. Furthermore, individuals will be awarded specific tags upon reaching certain milestones, creating an incentive for them to strive for these achievements.
Next, let us consider how to preserve our literary heritage. Currently, we see very few novelists or short story writers; we aim to provide them with a platform to share their major novels, stories, and poems with us. Just as we eagerly await the release of a movie, we will anticipate the release of their writings and serials. Before a new piece is published, we will promote it with the same excitement and scale as a film launch to captivate readers. We will actively discuss the best serials, analyzing which ones were the most popular over the course of a month, a week, or a year, and provide them with our full support. In essence, we will build an industry of our own.
Next, we aim to establish another industry here—the comic industry. I haven't seen anyone writing comics on this platform yet, but I believe that if we start producing them and successfully boost reader demand through promotion, that interest will spread beyond the platform itself, drawing new users here to read them. We also plan to develop the characters in these comics into iconic figures.
That is my plan, but there is one more thing I would like to address: currently, the home page is cluttered with a lot of irrelevant content. While the 'Trending' section displays numerous posts, many of them lack real substance or value. We intend to ensure that only our most important posts make it to the trending section; this way, new users visiting the home page will immediately grasp how the platform works.

All members of the community are free to set up communities on any topics.
They are also free to allocate their SP to support posts in those communities.
They are also free to buy STEEM to power up to support those communities.
