Achievement 5 Task 1 by @prexioz: Review Steemworld.org

Introduction

For Achievement 5 Task 1, I explored SteemWorld.org to understand how it can be used to check different activities and statistics on a Steem account.

SteemWorld provides useful information about an account, including rewards, delegations, votes, account operations and voting information.

1. How to check Reward Summary

To check my Reward Summary, I opened SteemWorld.org and entered my Steem username.

From the dashboard, I opened the rewards section. The reward information can be viewed for different periods such as:

  • All Time
  • Last 30 Days
  • Last 7 Days

This makes it easier to understand the rewards earned by an account over different periods.

2. What are Delegations?

Delegation means giving some of my Steem Power to another Steem account so that the account can use the delegated voting power.

There are different delegation views:

  • Outgoing Delegations – SP delegated from my account to another account.
  • Incoming Delegations – SP delegated to my account by another account.
  • Expiring Delegations – delegations that are scheduled to expire.

SteemWorld provides a Delegations section where these details can be viewed. oai_citation:1‡SteemWorld

To delegate SP, I can open the Delegations section, select the Delegate option, enter the account I want to delegate to and specify the amount of SP.

3. Incoming and Outgoing Votes

SteemWorld allows me to check both incoming and outgoing votes.

Incoming votes show votes received by my account/posts.

Outgoing votes show votes that I have given to other accounts/posts.

I can open the Incoming or Outgoing section from my account dashboard to view the voting activity.

4. Account Operations for the Past 7 Days

The Account Operations section allows me to examine activities carried out by my account.

I can select different days such as:

  • Today
  • Yesterday

I can also filter the operations as Incoming, Outgoing or In & Out.

The section can show different operations such as transfers, votes, posts, rewards, market orders and other blockchain activities. oai_citation:2‡SteemWorld

5. Author, Curation and Beneficiary Reward

Author Rewards

Author rewards are rewards earned for creating content on Steem.

Curation Rewards

Curation rewards are rewards earned by users for voting/curating content.

Beneficiary Rewards

Beneficiary rewards are rewards assigned to another account from a post's reward.

SteemWorld provides separate views for Author Rewards, Curation Rewards and Beneficiary Rewards. oai_citation:3‡SDS

For my account during the past 7 days:

  • Author Rewards: ***
  • Curation Rewards: ***
  • Beneficiary Rewards: ****

6. Checking My Upvote Value

SteemWorld can also be used to check the value of my upvote.
I can look at the voting information on my account and see the estimated value of my vote. I can then compare different voting weights, such as 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, to understand how the value changes.

Conclusion

Exploring SteemWorld helped me understand my Steem account better. I learned how to check rewards, delegations, votes, account operations and voting values.

This task gave me practical experience with an important Steem .
