These chains run on two meters. Voting power decides what your vote is worth; Resource Credits decide whether you are allowed to act at all. Every transaction, a post, a vote, a transfer, a follow, burns RC by a weight that reflects its load on the network. The catch: RC cannot be bought or transferred. They are derived from your stake and refill over about five days. This is why a tiny account that receives even a small SP delegation gets real operating capacity, free, for as long as the delegation stays. My health gate is simple: below twenty five percent RC, do not publish, wait for the tank. Watching this one number eliminates most mysterious failed transactions.
