Today is my Birthday and its been good being at home to celebrate it, i flew back from Auckland yesterday and arrived home just after 4pm.

It was nice to be home and see the Family and of course Smudge, we had a nice dinner and i got to sleep in my own bed!

For lunch we had some party type food and a yummy Sponge filled with cream and strawberries on top, it was topped with Flake and was super tasty.

After getting up at 5.30am which i thought was 6.30am i went for an early morning walk, after my walk i decided to get on my Mountain bike and go for a Birthday ride.

I got some presents that i wanted which include the David Goggins book and some new flash running shoes which are the same as what i have just a different colour.

---

When asked by my partner what i wanted i asked for a Weighted vest for walking, it weighs 10 kg and i have tried it out already a couple of times. It does make walking a little harder but nothing extreme.

New Mountain bike gloves plus a few other things which i am grateful for.

---

My In laws got me a $100 Voucher for a local restaurant called Holy Smoke which do slow cooked American BBQ, we are booked in for 6pm tonight.

I have been there a couple times before and they always make yummy food.

So this has been my Birthday so far here in New Zealand :)
