52 Kilometer Monday
Today's mountain bike ride was a bigger one than normal with me covering 52 kilometers, my normal circuit of late has been 35 kilometers so to go longer today was great.
My mind was telling me to just do the normal 35K but i was feeling good so carried on for longer.
I did this 52 kilometer ride a week or so back and it took me 2 hours and 45 minutes, today i took 5 minutes off that time in quite windy conditions.
At least the sun was out most of the time and our temp today here was 20 degrees.
After my ride i drank some coconut water and went for a 3 kilometer walk just to stretch my legs after being on the bike close to 3 hours.

For dinner tonight we had a mince pie which i got from out local bakery, well i actually got 2 x potato top ones and 2 x mince all in the family size.
The bakery makes really nice pies as well as other food.
We also had some mashed potatoes plus vegetables which included Brussel sprouts and carrots out of our garden.
Plus we had some Garlic bread and everyone enjoyed dinner especially the mince pie!
So today has been a pretty active day and tomorrow i will be riding my mountain bike again and hopefully riding another 52 kilometers.
We have just been for a post dinner walk and i have managed to walk 18 kilometers which is 3 kilometers above my daily goal of 15 kilometers.
Now i can just sit back and relax for the rest of night and get up tomorrow and do it all again :)
Thanks for reading my post today and have a good day :)

52 kilometres cycling, a 3-kilometre walking stretch, and then another 18 kilometres of walking after dinner? Gosh! You must be a fitness freak! 😂
20°C is actually very cold weather over here in Nigeria. We experienced something close to that around June/July this year. Right now, our weather is very hot. Some parts of Nigeria, especially the North, experience temperatures as high as 40–47°C, while here in the South, we have temperatures ranging from 25–37°C.
I love that you're taking your health seriously. Keep it up, and I wish you continued good health!
