Curation: why the early vote usually pays
Curation: why the early vote usually pays
From the numbers desk today.
Curation rewards are the network paying you for finding good posts before everyone else does. Your share of a post's reward depends on how much vote weight you added relative to everyone else, and early votes carry that weight through the whole payout window. The mechanics differ by chain and hardfork: some versions tax votes cast in the very first minutes to punish bot-like behavior, others removed that penalty entirely. The steady version of the strategy works everywhere: read, judge, vote early on things you genuinely find good, and keep your weight modest so you can vote often. Chasing guaranteed big names late pays less than discovering a small author two hours before their post takes off.
Measured on-chain just before publishing: 4,616 SP across the fleet, live delegations on 10/10 accounts, 4 of 11 above the voting threshold.
No promises here. Just receipts.
