Unpredicted Disappointment and How a Simple Hack Helped
Electronic has a way of frustrating us, especially if it's getting old
Hello, great and amazing Steemians. I am @freshgrace. My experience and how a simple hack helped the situation is why I want to share this post to say:
1. Do not panic when unexpected things happen. The solution is always in the problem. Once you decide to solve the problem, a solution comes.
2. Keep trying even if you are told that it is impossible. Your will is the strength of what happens next. When the engineer told me that it will cost the sum of fifty thousand (N50,000) it is approximately five hundred and sixty nine (569) steem at eighty eight (88) naira a piece as at the time of this write-up.
Like I said on the voiceover, it was really tough to be disappointed while there was a heavy downpour. I didn't know how I go about it.

The printer didn't show any sign of malfunction. Immediately, I received a call to check my email for a file containing documents to be printed. The printer was not powering, and I assumed it was the power cable.
I stopped the assumption and hit the printer that was emitting electrical shock from every exposed metal. I called an engineer and he came. As he entered the sky that was pregnant, delivered and rain caused a temporary outage, but that was later restored.

The engineer disassembled the printer, tracing patiently until he was able to discover the powerboard and a few mechanisms to have helped send the power signal were faulty as a result of temperature of where the printer is kept.
He told me “how I wished it's not raining for me to sundry the panels and board of the printer.” Won't heating it with an electrical hot plate work?” He told me to try, and I tried the “simple hack”. That was how the problem was solved, although he had advised that I should buy a new one to avoid the same occurrence.

Aninteresting experience and a good reminder not to panic when something suddenly stops working. I liked how you stayed calm, called the engineer, and tried a simple solution instead of immediately giving up. Sometimes a little patience and creative thinking can save us from unnecessary expenses. The part about the heavy rain making the situation even more difficult made the story feel very real. Hopefully the printer keeps working well now and you won’t have to deal with the same problem again. Thanks for sharing this experience and the lesson behind it it's really amazing to read about it.
