Saint Francis Pray for Us

The Franciscan friars in Arequipa, Peru operate two churches connected to each other. They also have Masses operating in both churches at the same time. I'm not sure why it is run this way, but I like it. Right behind the St. Francis statue below is one church and the other church has the lit up window on the left side of the same photo.

One church has more of a parish feel to it (I wasn't aware that you're not supposed to take photos in here, oops).

The other church feels more like a shrine. This one says nothing about photography though (so I guess the rules are different here).

There is a beautiful square outside of these churches and a nice taco and burger restaurant across the street called El Buchon. I think my Lomo sandwich below was 11 soles, and it was a very good sandwich.
