Rani Pokhari is a famous historical pond located in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal. It was built by King Pratap Malla in 1670 AD in memory of his beloved son. The pond is surrounded by a beautiful stone wall and has a small temple in the center dedicated to Bal Gopaleshwar.
