Death Stare at the Riverbank 🐊🐃

in #photography • yesterday

The river holds its breath.

A massive Nile crocodile, perfectly still at the water's edge, locks eyes with a water buffalo standing its ground on the bank. Two ancient rivals, frozen in a moment of pure tension. Neither blinks. Neither backs down.

This is why wildlife photography keeps me coming back — nature's drama needs no script, no actors, no special effects. Just patience, and being in the right place when the wild decides to perform.

Captured at golden hour, when the light turns the river to glass and every ripple tells a story.

Who do you think owns this riverbank — the crocodile or the buffalo? Tell me in the comments! 👇
