A day in the life : Day 667

I spent some time today reading about how AI is slowly moving from being something we open in a browser to something that is becoming part of ordinary devices. Phones, laptops, cars and even home appliances are getting smarter features, and it feels like this change is happening quietly in the background. A few years ago these things sounded futuristic. Now they mostly feel like another software update.

The funny part is that while technology keeps getting smarter, my little problems remain completely ordinary.

This evening I was making dinner and noticed that the pressure cooker was taking much longer than usual. I checked the gas, checked the cooker, checked the lid and then finally realized I had not put enough water inside. Nothing was broken. I had simply managed to create a problem for myself in the most boring way possible.

Dinner was delayed by about twenty minutes, but at least it turned out fine. I have started appreciating these small mistakes because they usually look much more serious for the first five minutes than they actually are.

The weather has also started feeling different lately. The evenings are more comfortable, and I have been eating slightly lighter food instead of the heavier meals I tend to make when it is cooler. A simple dinner and some water felt better than anything complicated today.

I also noticed that I spent less time jumping between random things on my phone. That was probably the best part of the day. Nothing dramatic happened, but the day felt reasonably productive without being exhausting.

It is getting late now. The cooker is washed, the kitchen is quiet, and tomorrow can deal with whatever new little problem decides to appear.
