One lesson from the Christmas story

Jesus came, eventually, by all the words of promise God had given through the thousands of years prior. It is to the honour of His name. God teaches us to be a honorable people, staying true to our words - saying what we mean and meaning what we say.

There is Christmas because God honoured His word. May we have the grace of introspection and solemnly examine ourselves, if we be honorable or nill. If nill, graciously repent and amend our ways, to become honorable even as our Father is honourable.
