SVM Testnet: 395K+ Blocks, Stable Infrastructure & UI Kit Progress
The SVM Testnet is now approaching the milestone of 400,000 blocks. Alongside maintaining network stability, the primary development focus has shifted to enhancing the SVM App's UI Kit and user experience.
Since Sherpa Protocol's smart contracts and DeFi infrastructure have been operating stably for an extended period, the frontend is now being developed using a consistent and scalable design system.

Continuous operation reaching nearly 400K blocks demonstrates the stability of the v0.0.4.x security patches, the zero-inflation fee market, and the automated validator update workflows.
Smart Contract Testing
Extensive local testing has been conducted on the deployed Sherpa Protocol contracts.
Specific components tested include:
- LendingPool
- VaultManager
- wSTEEM
- SherpaOracle
No state anomalies, transaction reverts, or unexpected gas consumption were detected during testing.
This confirms that SVM's foundational DeFi architecture is ready for more extensive user interaction.
SVM App UI Kit
The current development focus is the SVM App UI Kit.
A reusable component library is being created to ensure the entire application interface adheres to a unified design language.
Key Objectives of the UI Kit
Consistency
Designs for every page, button, and modal will remain uniform.
Scalability
New components can be easily integrated as advanced farming, governance, and cross-chain features are added in the future.
Accessibility
The interface is being designed to ensure ease of use for both existing STEEM users and users migrating from the EVM ecosystem.
Next Development Steps
1. Finalize UI Kit
Complete the design and coding of core UI components. ### 2. App Integration
Building the complete SVM App frontend using UI Kit components.
3. End-to-End Testing
Starting from wallet connection:
- Swap execution
- Liquidity provision
- Transaction flow
- Full user journey
Everything will undergo end-to-end testing.
Following this, there are plans to release the official SVM App access link for visual preview and public testing.
