Each tournament has a 100 STEEM guaranteed prize pool, distributed among the Top 5 players:

⏰ Why 14:00 UTC?

I did not want to simply guess when the tournaments should be played.

We analyzed 30 days of Steem blockchain activity, covering 720 individual hours, to see when Steem users are actually active.

The data showed strong weekend activity around 13:00–14:00 UTC.

For simplicity, I decided to use the same starting time on both days:

Saturday & Sunday — 14:00 UTC

Having one fixed time should also make it much easier to remember:

Weekend = Steem4Poker at 14:00 UTC

The freerolls are also an opportunity to learn Texas Hold'em, improve your game and meet other Steemians around the poker table.

Because there is no entry fee, there is nothing to lose.

Why Weekend Freerolls?

Steem4Poker was created because I believe Steem needs more than posting and voting.

We also need activities that bring people together.

Poker gives us something different: we can sit at the same virtual table, compete, talk, have fun and win STEEM.

And hopefully, over time, Steem4Poker can also introduce people outside Steem to our blockchain.

The first goal, however, is simple:
