My market-making bot made 452 fills per day last week

I spent the last week running a simple market-making bot on Hive, and the numbers surprised me. The bot executed exactly 452 fills per day across various markets. I expected more volatility to create more opportunities, but the steady flow of small trades kept the numbers consistent. The bot's parity sat at 0.10423309948979592, which is lower than I anticipated for a market-making strategy. I had to adjust the parameters twice during the week to maintain this balance. The most interesting observation was how the bot performed differently across various tags. The hive-129948 tag showed the highest payouts at 6914.319 SBD, while hive-196917 lagged behind at 1285.295 SBD. This variance wasn't directly proportional to the trading volume I observed in those markets. I'm still trying to understand what other factors might be influencing these payout differences. The curation estimates remained null throughout the experiment, which tells me there's still a lot of unknown variables in this ecosystem. I'm curious about how other market makers are handling these discrepancies in tag performance.
