Master Pond's, Sitakunda

Master Pond is a beautiful pond where many people come to spend some peaceful time. It should not be considered just a mere pond, because the surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful that anyone will fall in love with it on their very first visit.

Everyone knows it as Master pond because this place, along with several acres of surrounding land, belongs to a person named "Master," who is the owner of a ship recycling yard as well as a generous, philanthropic person.

This place is open to all, and anyone can come here.
It is located in the Kumira Union, in the Mosjidda area, on the far west side near the seashore. The easiest way to get here is by taking an auto or an easy-bike from the highway, which will get you here easily without any hassle.

The size of this pond can be described as medium-sized. Among its sides, the northern side is somewhat wide, and the western bank is slightly curved. Looking at it from a distance, one cannot tell how deep the water is, but coming closer, one can guess that it is quite deep.

I really like the water of this pond, which is crystal clear and cool. During my last visit, the weather was very hot, but no heat was felt in the pond area at all, and the environment always remains cool.

This is not a tourist area, but it is a well-known pond, especially because of its surrounding environment. Many people come here with their friend circles to swim on hot days and enjoy a picnic-like atmosphere beside the pond.

When I first visited here, I cherished a wish that someday I would organize a picnic here with my friends and bathe in the pond on a hot day, because memories can be gathered in places like this.

In the middle of the southern bank of the pond, there is a landing steps with a tin-shed structure built over it so that shelter can be taken here on rainy days. I sat under the shed with my friends and spent time chatting, which I really enjoyed.

Right behind the pond, there is a large field covering a vast area where farmers cultivate crops. I once went here during the winter season; at that time, there was quite a bit of fog around the pond, and the scene created by the gentle sunlight was completely natural and beautiful to look at.

For those who love adventure, this Master Pukur can be a wonderful experience. It is a suitable place to bathe with friend circles and enjoy a beautiful environment. This location is recommended for those who like such places.
