RE: Chapter 30: Flesh-Weave Protocol30:血肉织网协议
It feels to me it wasn't Pan Asia burying the lab 50 years ago, it sounds more like a mutiny of IT professionals and some others, creating eternal life for them, to keep their invention for themselves while fighting the upper brain (the one of the leaders) while trying to get rid of the plebs canabalistic brain which tries to level up.
Old Cheng needs his slaves and in the end he hopes to be the only one, which he will regret since someone should take care of the tea, coffee, cacao and tobacco.
How can that copy of a copy of the clone its clone smoke? It's more likely the cigarette is hold out of a habit and smokes itself 🤔
How about a cup of tea?
Your theories are expanding the universe of 'Hell's Eye' in the best way possible! A mutiny of IT professionals striving for eternal life against the 'upper brain'... that is a fantastic, dark cyberpunk concept! And you absolutely nailed it with the cigarette—it’s pure, twisted muscle memory. The creature doesn't even know why it's holding it, the habit just survived the mutation. It's just burning on its own. I would absolutely love a cup of tea right now, especially if it keeps me awake to write the next chapter! Cheers! 🍵
