Yes, I recently too heard it is in the Hobbit. I doubt I watched it. Perhaps I should.
There are more cultures having a boogie man scaring children, but not sure it is called Ogre
The Hobbit is interesting, you should watch it. I'm sure you will love it.
I think there are other stories different from Ogre, monsters that scare and frighten children.
I will put it on my winter watch list... After INKtober and who knows NaNoWriMo (daily writing with a prompt and at the end of november you have a book, or not. I believe we already have after all those years).
That's good plan.
