That’s very kind of you to say, neighbour… Unbelievable, isn’t it? To think how long we’ve known each other, and all because we both took part in the weekly competition to write as many and as good comments as possible! And now, so many years on, the same theme was briefly on the agenda again, only to be discontinued at the start of October – well, more or less.
I’m a curator again, and this time in a different team because Sol didn’t apply, but of course also because the Steemit Team put the curator groups together for this month.
This time I’m also in boomang03, with two other teammates, and we’re also Team 3 🤣
Whether all those threes are a lucky number remains to be seen.
And no, the team’s name isn’t True Colours – that name is only meant for a specific theme, which isn’t the case this time. Besides, as far as True Colours is concerned, I wouldn’t work with just anyone – I’ve learnt my lesson the hard way over the past few years.
And now for the good news: INKtober, of course…
I’ve organised a new competition, and it would be great if you took part. The competition came about following a discussion higher up about the fact that almost everyone writes the same thing, which is starting to get incredibly boring, shows little creativity, and that it’s far more important for people to be themselves. The title of the competition is therefore: Be Yourself.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy the competition if you take a look. Do not forget to check (or is it study) the comment section.

Congratsss!! This curator thing, you need to apply/renew every year or something? I thought you were already booming03 and True Colours was yours and sol's special baby? And what is discontinued in October? Oh wait.. Team 3 is steemcurator03?
Hahah yah.. the emoji contest, goshhH!! Thinking back, it was pretty silly typing with so many emojis haha and hard too! But yah, joining and hosting contests helped us grew. Actually I didn't think good comments were appreciated much back then, I do notice it is now, which is a very good thing. I don't remember comments getting upvotes or nice upvotes before. Only posts and that was only by a certain big curator groups only like curie, ocd, qurator. Now, seems like there are quite a number?
INKtober yesss.. I am trying to brave myself to pick up a pen and draw haha. Hope I get to soon before the month ends. I remember INKtober used to be quite a big thing before the split. Many posted their works. Though I wonder if it is still the same in HIVE? I have not visited there but I think things are more active there.
I just read the contest post and I am trying to decipher hahahaha. Ok, I will re-read the comments and try to figure it out to join hehe.
Yah, mentally with work and Steemit is my outlet now. How many times I wanted to Steemit at work but I couldn't haha. And I'm sure you are busy too. I wanted to just steemit the whole day, join all contests, comment and reply to comments all day but I can't. It can be draining sometimes. How do you do it Kitty?
