RE: Chapter 13: The Architect and the Acid Hound / 第十三章:架构师与酸液猎犬

I’ve read it again, but I can’t find anywhere that says these two are agents and that they’ve met before, so this whole relationship strikes me as completely out of the blue. I also find it strange that, when Yun Feng isn’t 100 per cent human himself, he finds it odd that someone else might not be human either, and might instead be artificial – that is, programmed, or both. She wasn’t really a spy either… More like she’d been snatched up by a greedy owner and misused. Very realistic indeed.

Wow, I am truly touched that you read it so closely and even re-read it! Having a reader like you is a writer's greatest luck. 😭

You made some incredibly sharp points! Regarding their past connection, I intentionally hid some clues to build a mystery, but I completely agree that the reveal might have felt a bit too sudden ("out of the blue"). I will definitely pay more attention to foreshadowing in the future!

Your analysis of Yun Feng is brilliant. You caught a core psychological conflict in him: even though he is heavily cyber-augmented, he still desperately clings to the illusion of his remaining "humanity." So, when he encounters a consciousness that is entirely programmed, it shatters his comfort zone and terrifies him.

And your interpretation of her as a victim misused by a greedy owner is 100% spot on. That tragedy is exactly the cruel reality I wanted to portray in this cyberpunk world. Thank you so much for this deep and insightful review, it really inspires me! 🦾✨

I wish you many great readers, with the eye for detail.

This BOOMING vote is yours and well deserved!

Thank you so much! I put a lot of effort into the cyberpunk worldbuilding, so your wish for readers with an "eye for detail" really touches my heart. I am deeply grateful for the generous BOOMING vote and the community's nomination. It's a massive motivation for my writing journey!
