I find it strange you see feminine since each time I see a translation out of Spanish it is always "his", "him", "he" even if the character is female, the name is and is clear from the text.
Yesterday it was the first time I saw the same translation mistake made from Chinese to English but it wasn't as I translated into Dutch.
Indeed this is also a burden if it comes to translations. It can make it very difficult to understand what the story is about and who says or does what.

First of all: most will never read the entire text unless there is something that really grabs their attention.
Secondly, most are not able or too lazy to translate. Might be a built in translater or browser helps out here.

If it comes to AI it is more likely used to write texts (content + comments) and generate pictures or ask questions. Whatever the outcome is: it will rarely be checked.
