It wouldn't harm if they get a real job although many who joined say this is their job even if they only post once, something they can do from the toilet pot or still in bed. Most of them rarely read and comment or uovote others meaning they will not be very eager to work in the real world.
To me it is more about the contacts which I did build out of bed when I started here and couldn't walk...
Yesterday an old friend greeted me after not being here for five years and the week before that another one. How cool is that?
