RE: Solitude in old age
Such is the reality of life: when we grow old, sometimes our children may not want to care for us—yet that does not mean no one will look after us; it depends on how they were raised and on their individual characters.
Sometimes I feel sad seeing someone treat their parents like animals; after all, when we were little, our parents cared for us with such love, yet in return, they end up being neglected.
A single parent can care for up to ten children, yet a child is not necessarily able to care for even one parent.
There is a saying that a child's love extends only as far as the road ahead, whereas a mother's love lasts a lifetime; may those who still have parents care for them well.
It is even more said to say that a child's love extends only as far as the road ahead..it is true. We cannot choose our parents and assuming our children love is wrong.
Depending on or being used to is not love.
This BOOMING vote is yours and well deserved!
