His neighbor reminds him of this, and the end of the story makes it very clear and in a funny way. I think this could happen; pressure isn't good, especially at work. For example, if I need to work a few hours on a Sunday, I do it. I don't get paid for that time, but I can relax while working, and I know that I can earn that money at one of the fashion shows. In fact, when I have to participate in fashion shows, I earn more than in a normal two weeks.
