Six Obsessions, One Boy

in CCC • 3 days ago

I think every guy has a few things that can easily get his attention, no matter what he's doing. Things he can talk about for hours, things that brighten his mood, and things that make him forget about whatever was bothering him for a while.

Well, I have six.

the boy with obsessions

Football, gaming, music, food, Mercedes-Benz, and Lionel Messi.

Yes, I know. That's quite a list.

first obsession

Football comes first because there's something about the game that keeps pulling me back. Whether I'm playing or watching, football has a way of making an ordinary day interesting. Sometimes, it's the excitement of a good match. Other times, it's simply being on the pitch with the guys, doing what we enjoy.

Then there's gaming. I like the kind of entertainment that gets you involved rather than just sitting and watching. You want to win, you want to improve, and sometimes, you keep going because you know you could have done better in the last round. Before you realize it, time has passed.

second obsession

Music is another one. Different moods call for different sounds. Sometimes, you want something lively; other times, you just want to listen and let your mind wander. Music can change the atmosphere of a moment without you having to do much.

third in the list

And please, let's talk about food.

fouth obsession

I don't think I need to explain this one too much. A good meal can improve my mood in ways that are difficult to describe. If you've been following my posts, you probably already know that beans has a special place in my heart. Some obsessions don't need defending!

Now, we move to the cars.

fifth in the list

Mercedes-Benz is one of those things I can admire even when I'm not planning to own one anytime soon. There's just something about the cars that catches my attention. But before anyone concludes that I've made my final decision, let me confess something: if I had to state my preference clearly, I'd probably choose BMW over Benz.

For now, though, Benz remains on my obsession list.

And finally, Lionel Messi.

lastly

When it comes to football, Messi is the man I look up to. His ability, vision, and the way he understands the game are things I genuinely admire. Watching him play has given me plenty of reasons to appreciate football beyond just scoring goals. To me, there's something special about a player who can make difficult things look effortless.

Looking at these six things, I realize that our interests don't always have to be extraordinary. Sometimes, they're simply the things that make us feel most like ourselves.

These are mine, though I'm sure your list would look different.

my obsessions

So, let me ask you: what are the things you're obsessed with? Not necessarily the things you own or spend money on, but the things you genuinely love and can never seem to get tired of.

I'm curious to know what makes your list

Sort:

Pará chake, seis obsesiones y metés fútbol primero nomás, te banco. Pero lo de los beans con lugar especial en el corazón me mató kóre, eso sí que no se defiende ndaje.

Basically...i do not joke with beans my friend😁😁

I find it hard, being tired of eating them. I always want it again and again.

I don't believe I would call these things obsessions. Perhaps the food if you stuff yourself like a turkey, so you cannot play football and watch only.
Messi is fine and so is gaming. Lucky you, you can on Steemit.
I would prefer the Mercedes above the BMW. More expensive but also better plus BMW drivers have a certain name I do not like to be related with.

While...i understand clearly. Concerning that BMW names..i wont let thier names and stuffs judge my choice of preference.

I just happen to find my self loving it

The BMW gives off a vibe, which sometimes shows on the roads and in people’s personalities. And it is a fine thing to like things, no matter what the interpretations are.

Some people may just prefer it for its lavishness, while others may prefer a normal, basic, cheap car that provides the functions they need. And it may not just be that they cannot afford it. It may very well be that they genuinely like it that way.

It is a matter of age as well. As a young guy, sporty cars can feel much more appealing, and they go well with that phase of life too. In your thirties and beyond, you may see people gravitating more towards family cars or sleek sedans.

And in all of that they are pretty good cars and I like them aswell even though I don't even know how to drive . Probably you will teach me someday when you get a fricking bmw.🤗

Oh yea. Sure my friend.
I'd call on all my steemians to show some love and support to my wallet😇☺️
In a matter of time, the BMW will be all mine, there...i can teach you driving. 😃 😊

I'm ready.

It'll cost you just $50k

Then we can proceed....

Oh, you have so many things to think about! Although I like cars, I’m actually quite afraid of driving them. 😅

Naa..if theres one thing i really craved during my initial phase of adulthood..was driving.

Most times i find my peace there, and that peace is always refreshing.
