RE: POLL: Do you use AI (to translate)?

in CCC • 22 days ago

To be honest, the constant harassment from a few bot followers who write using AI is getting a bit tiring.

And although I use AI for translations, seeing questions in Steem threads or conversations asked to an AI instead of a human makes me feel strange.

There are (were) parts of this platform where users had entire conversations with AI. I am not sure if many still use this option or know about it. It is not that old.
To me it is a clear sign. If people prefer talking to AI for hours and days, this means there is a huge lack of personal contact, discussion partners at the appropriate level sharing the same interests, Many people are clearly in an ‘isolent’. The only question is why they don’t respond when you leave a comment. Perhaps it is easier to have a conversation with AI than with a human after all? There were an enormous number of replies to messages left by a test bot that responded to what was written in the text, offering standard compliments and asking questions. Naturally, when people replied to these, there was no response. The fact that people respond en masse says a lot about their desire to be read and their longing for contact.

As for your stalkers: use the MUTE function, and you won’t be able to see these messages any more. Telling them to get lost is pointless. Incidentally, there are plenty of people who are happy with it and give it upvotes. A bot doesn’t read, and doesn't respond.

I think I understand those who prefer to talk to a bot; they tend to be very positive and flattering.

Whenever I ask the AI for its opinion on something, I must clarify that I want an honest and critical opinion. Otherwise everything is wonderful haha.

I need to use Steemit more to take advantage of the mute feature. Although I've gotten used to SteemX. I'll see if Welako has that option, because their private chat is something I want to use For the exquisite corpse game.

I believe a part of these accounts are real, but the comments are generated by bots. Shorter comments can not be traced as such by the average AI text checkers, not that there is need for such a tool.
