RE: Cutting lifeline
Shortly before the pandemic, I suddenly lost hearing in my right ear, accompanied by vertigo, nausea, and vomiting. It was awful.
Then the quarantine came and I couldn't travel to have a consultation with a specialist, and then I got used to it when I stopped hearing the background noise.
According to what I read, in that competition something like spitting was penalized, but apparently going around dripping feces wasn't.
Although I believe that after the scandal the winner resigned her prize and apologized, I think she ruined the experience for the other participants and the public.
I understand. The pandemic halted everything even routine medical appointment. It was still an unreal time for me even though I was a bit relieved for the isolation.
But did you try to get it checked afterwards? Vertigo, nausea and vomiting, felt like the time I had motion sickness on a ferry.
And in the videos I watched, there was an official next to her all the time. Don't all these people have some kind of common sense to raise a question or do anything about it? The organizer failed badly.
It was too late by the time she decided to resign. She did another thing that irked the public by declaring a win is a win.
There were so many posts about her on social media, that I had imagined the smell in those couple of days. Like I could almost smell 💩💩💩. Just like how you can imagine the taste of something when you watched a cooking show or something
I didn't actually follow up on it anymore; from what I read, it's a condition that appears spontaneously, called tinnitus, but it has no cure.
Maybe one day I'll go to an ear, nose, and throat specialist and we'll discover that a tree is growing in my ear! 😂

Tinnitus. You would hear some non existing ringing sound?
Fruits may have drop out of your ears before you get to see the ENT 😁
At first I heard non-existent noises, now I think I've gotten used to it, but a kind of muffled sound usually continues.
I hope those fruits don't grow in my brain, or I'll be toast haha.
