RE: Chapter 36: The Man at the Gate第三十六章:门前的人

I wonder how long one's arms should be to shoot into the own eye with a long rifle.

Feng isn't smart, only one eye left and still noisy and sticking his nose (or should I say eye too close to whatever it is.) Sounds to me he can easily be fooled and has a bad eyesight. Clearly being programmed doesn't replace human instinct.
Also, how come that even being programmed Feng doesn't calculate what possibly could go wrong. Who knows he needs a reset. 🤔

I could say: he should have had a mum, but most likely that would have made any difference since he is programmed and a clone and clearly affected by blackouts (power switched off).

It seems to me that no one dies for some reason not even number one (who hopefully did some new calculations and not only drank my tea.

I assume that since 50 years passed and there's nothing, sterile is associated with the tiles and not more of a vague programmed memory.

Loved to read you, it good to see, you received some support.

You have such a sharp eye! 😂 About the long rifle... well, in this twisted cyberpunk world, perhaps people have to use some very 'creative' or gruesome methods to pull the trigger if their arms aren't long enough.

Your analysis of Feng is spot on. He is a defective product. The irony is that the creators tried to program a perfect machine, but failed to replicate basic human instinct and risk assessment. He really does need a hard reset!

As for why no one truly dies... you are getting dangerously close to the core secret of this facility. The 'sterile' tiles and the stagnant 50 years are all part of a much larger, darker loop.

Thank you for the support and the brilliant deductions! Reading your comments is always a highlight for me. 🕵️‍♂️✨
