Of course, mothers are the ones for whom the word sacred is best, but one thing that bothered me in your post is that you have used the word thing for your mother, whereas mothers are living beings, so the word being can be used for them, but not for something. Things are inanimate.
Indo not read anywhere he describes his mother as a thing. Can it be the translated or am I missing something?
