RE: POLL: Will You Edit Your Post Following The Advice To Improve IT?

in CCC22 days ago

Yes, I will improve my post with every chance I get. I think that's the essence of sharing your post, so that others can benefit from it.
I have had cue from some users in time past that has really helped my writing and arranging my post, to make it better than before.
The images I use mostly depicts what I am talking about, as a visual representation of what is being said. A catchy title is helpful as well.

Like you, I stopped trying for some of these contest with so much rules. It looks as if the rules were set to discourage people from participating in the contest. You never seem to get it right, and when you do, they just come up with something that should be ignored. Most make the rules to their advantage, expecting you to bring more people and do everything to help their contest see the light.
I am mostly concentrating on posting something that will be of benefit to my readers, I think this most important instead of chasing something that is sketchy.

Overall, posting should not be about quantity but the quality of it. This is one of the reasons why I try to keep my post short and precise, no long talks, just straight to the point why we are here.

This is a good write up, it calls our mind to something important. I have learnt from this, it serves as a reminder to do better and I hope others learn too.

For sure others can benefit from what you wrote. If it comes to long texts, the minimum of words set to be called good content, thankfully no longer exists.

What no one seemed to understand is that if it comes to poetry, freewriting and for example writing a text with 300 characters is way more difficult than the endless blah blah...

I even noticed, most people go out of intent whenever they write all because they want to make sure it is lengthy.
The content should be of good quality, that should be enough.

Yes, I noticed the same. Two years ago it was terrible. They even told to write other blah blah next to the poem to have enough words. Same for all those boring epistels where the same remarks where written at least FF our if notbten times. Posts likes these are not inviting.no one will read it.
