RE: It Was Love at First Sight
Yes! This is the one I mentioned. There used to be free access to the manga online and I prefer to narrate based on that as there were more details.
It's funny how one can order almost anything there and his kitchen was so tiny.
Jun wanted to make out with him. Haha. In the drama, Yoshida looked so haggard from that.
It's acquired taste. But once you got used to it, it's really nice with plain steaming hot rice. Also, depending on your tastebud.
For me, I prefer things not too sweet. I added some soy sauce and also wasabi to mine, in addition to the tare and mustard given. I also tried it with my favorite chili sauce and added them to curry. Leftover curry with only gravy and not much ingredients left.
Japanese has this nutrition chart that insisted one must include sticky/goey food like this. Seaweed also. I learned this from Chibi Maruko anime.
If you want to try, maybe you can order it from the sushi shop. They sell it in a pack of 3 or 4 in the supermarket.
Guess what?! I just tried it at Sushi Zanmai but I am not sure how I feel about it :D

It kinda has the texture of a slimy okra (which is not too bad) and an after taste similar to the canned black bean fish. Think need to try a few more varieties haha.

0.05 STEEM,

That was fast. I forgot to mention the okra. It's interesting that it felt like those black beans to you. I love them too.
You have try it with different combination to find the right taste for you. I waste so much natto before I got it right. Many years ago, I toss out the rest after I had a bite. Then I forgot it. Few years later, a friend gave a natto snack, it was dried and crunchy like peanut. It has certain aroma about it. Very nice. But I couldn't it in the supermarket, only the frozen ones. I tried and threw them out again. Another few more year, I was watching Chibi Maruko eating natto. This time I added the shoyu and wasabi. Finally...I didn't want to mention this when you asked me about it. hehe
