Yes, we can all agree to disagree on many things in life and still remain cordial with each other. But if some people can be avoided, then of course we should avoid them because what matters most is that we can breathe in the space we are in. We don't have to endure unnecessary discomfort.
I think art creation and writing are deeply solitary activities. Maybe we need to gather when we have to learn something new, but I don't think I could ever produce anything decent surrounded by people and noise like that.
