I completely agree, @wakeupkitty. It is truly depressing to see platforms flooded with soulless, automated text.
As someone who writes cyberpunk fiction exploring the boundaries between humans and machines, I believe the real value of literature always comes from the human struggle and emotion behind the words—the "ghost in the shell," so to speak. If everything becomes just lazy AI copy-pasting, the community loses its heart.

That's right. You know? When I first started on Steemit, I used to imagine there was a robot behind the posts—hehe. Well, nowadays that actually can happen, but back then it wasn't like that. Still, my assumption was based on the fact that whenever I left a message, I wouldn't get a reply—hehe. Maybe they didn't have a "translator" handy like they do now.

It's a real shame those authors didn't reply to you back then. For me, chatting in the comments and sharing ideas is honestly half the fun of being on Steemit! I'm just glad we have handy translation tools today to actually bridge the gap between real humans across the world, rather than using tech to just fake it. Always great talking to you!

I have no clue if I can protect the community. Those I asked in most cases go publish elsewhere and be rewarded. All I can say today is that I rather publish alone in my communities than being forced to read the same AI lines over and over again. It feels like being brainwashed, at least if you still read and write yourself. Imagine you have that AI voice and those lines hammering in your head 24/7...
Writers and artists will be rare, but therefore they will survive, unlike those needing comments, waiting till someone else or something else tells them what to do next.

I hear you perfectly, @booming03. Reading those repetitive, hollow lines really does feel like being trapped in a dystopian echo chamber. It’s just endless mechanical noise trying to drown out the real signal.
But your point at the end is absolutely right. True writers and artists will survive this exact era because they have a genuine pulse. They don't need an algorithm to tell them how to feel or what to say next. The flood of automation might be overwhelming right now, but it only makes authentic, human creativity more valuable.
Hang in there. As long as we keep writing from the heart, you are definitely not publishing alone
We may not be an extinct species, but we are something like a protected species. One of the few with feelings capable of translating them into words or images. Hopefully, creations that stir something within us – and by that I do not mean fear, or even just her.
