RE: POLL: Will You Edit Your Post Following The Advice To Improve IT?

in CCC21 days ago

I feel, as usual, that creativity isn't being encouraged. It’s always a pleasure chatting with you. To put it in true Cuban style: you really dot the i's and cross the t's.
There isn't much commenting going on, and that’s something we need to revive somehow. So, let's break the ice and enjoy what others are writing.

It’s difficult to promote art when only one or two people are committed to it. This could well be exactly what this platform needs to put itself on the map. Unfortunately, people prefer to post wherever they like, rather than coming together and making themselves visible.
Even if you’re a small-scale artist or not particularly creative, you’ll get noticed if you use the right hashtags and your post appears in a community with a specific theme.
Those looking for art are highly unlikely to find what they’re after when they use the hashtag #art, #drawing or #creative. Sadly, most artists and art lovers prefer to stay on the sidelines and only post something or use the right hashtag when there’s something in it for them. If that’s not the case, they’re off again in a flash.
When it comes to genuine artists – that is, those who make a living from it – they most likely don’t have the time or energy to promote themselves, although they will have to do so themselves, which could easily be achieved by joining forces. Together, you stand out more than you do alone.
