The Diary Game ||28||September 2026|| (how we shut down the stage for Mr. Rahman and his gorgeous wife wedding ceremony)
Preparation & Setup
Hi guys it me again your boy @temipkz.
The day started like every high-stakes Nigerian wedding gig—lots of hustle, preparation, and pure anticipation. Mr. Rahman and his bride looked stunning in their pre-wedding pictures, serving absolute couple goals. Looking at their shoot, you could tell this wasn’t just any regular party; it was going to be a proper high-classOwambe with elite energy!
I stepped out looking sharp in your light blue native attire, keeping it clean, fresh, and professional. As the live band began setting up the equipment—checking the talking drums (gangan), tuning the guitars, and testing the sound system—the hall slowly filled up with guests dressed in vibrant Aso-Ebi styles. I had my phone in one hand checking my setlist and lyrics, and the mic in the mic all, ready to handle business.
Taking the Stage & Setting the Mood
When it was time to step up to the mic, the room was already bubbling. As soon as i grabbed that microphone the sound enginner was set and waiting for me to do my thing, our set was not to heavy but authetic sound set,as soon as ami project my voice through the speakers, the atmosphere immediately shifted.
Me and my crew kicked things off with smooth, soulful vocals to welcome the couple and their esteemed guests. You gave them proper respect, singing sweet melodies to elevate the couple's special day. Behind you, the talking drummer hit the skins with pure precision, driving the rhythm and making sure every note landed right in the souls of the listeners.
It started with teni makanaki song ( baby wait for me )
On low rithym,i ws enjoying the sound so much we took more or five blues to usher in thr brinde and her groom
The Entrance
When Mr. Rahman and his wife made their grand entrance into the hall, the whole venue went crazy! The couple stepped in looking like royalty—sleek, elegant, and full of joy.
It was time to turn the energy all the way up to
We hit them with dynamic praise and high-energy vocals, tailoring the lyrics specifically to celebrate Mr. Rahman and his bride.
The band matched my vibe,,it something we worked on over and over again,,so it was beautifully applied, instantly, blending modern afrobeat rhythms with traditional live percussion.
Omo, see money spray! As I raised the tempo, the big men and high-profile guests stepped onto the dance floor. Mint notes started flying left, right, and center as they showered the couple—and the singer—with love and cash.
My vocal control was spot on—holding long notes, hyping up the crowd, and keeping everyone on their feet. I wasnt just singing; ymi was commanding the room, making sure nobody was left sitting down motionless
Total Owambe Lockdown
By the middle of the performance, the stage was hot, the sound was crisp, and the vibe was completely locked down.
I switched seamless between fast-paced dance tracks and rich, cultural praise jams. The talking drummer kept dropping heavy Yoruba traditional beats in the background, communicating directly with your vocal runs. Guests were pulling out their phones, snapping TikTok videos, recording live streams, and shouting “Give them!
Mr. Rahman and his wife couldn't stop smiling and dancing. You delivered an unforgettable show that left the entire hall talking about your performance long after the music stopped!
Aftet everything
Me and the band members were just exchanging looks of "We actually did that!" The energy in the green room/backstage was electric—high fives, fist bumps, and big smiles all round.
Special congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Rahman on their beautiful wedding celebration! Wishing you both a fruitful and everlasting union filled with joy.
Grateful to the couple and family for trusting me and my crew to deliver an unforgettable musical experience. 🎶✨
Always a pleasure bringing the energy!
