RE: Contest: Be Yourself - 2

I'm not a big supporter of having so many different frontends within the Steemit ecosystem. I would prefer a slightly different approach: one really good frontend built around steemit.com, with useful add-ons integrated into it.

As for the old Steemit online shop, I suspect such a project would be difficult to sustain today. But who knows?

Regarding electric mobility, I believe the transition is still heavily influenced by the fossil fuel lobbies. I'm curious to see how things develop over the next two or three years.

And thanks for the cycling route suggestions in the Netherlands! Who knows, perhaps I'll find myself exploring some of them when I reach 70....with a hot drink and a warm shower waiting for me after the ride! :)

Have a great weekend!

It can to my ear streemit.com will not receive a facelift, but a new face.
With you I am no fan of so many different frontends especially not if it comes to simple acts like: writing, posting, upvoting and commenting.

Let's see if 2027 will start with a brand-new steemit. Or who knows we will have it for Christmas.

The electric mobility is more likely part of the one works order strategy, cars spying on their owners and all data end up with the same people.
Without electricity the society we know will be put on hold or better end. Most will not survive unless they are creative...

Hopefully, not the creative way they show here. One title, one picture and one rule and it still is too hard to let go of everything.

By the way, cycling signs and routes are also available through NS (national railway). Not this Thursday, public transport strikes again...

A great week!

Let's hope for a Steemit Christmas present, then! 🎄

The issue of data collection associated with electric mobility has come up many times in conversations with friends. Personally, I think our personal data is already being tracked across so many applications and aspects of our daily lives that electric vehicles are simply another piece of a much larger puzzle.

As for energy, I believe we will eventually have to rethink our entire energy model. The current one seems increasingly unsustainable, and I wonder how long it can continue without reaching a breaking point.

Regarding contests, I must confess that I often avoid participating simply because there are too many rules and requirements. Sometimes I don't even manage to finish reading the announcement! Ironically, the contest I'm organising in the Moments in Focus community also has quite a few rules. I've tried to compensate for that with a more attractive prize, depending, of course, on how well the contest post is rewarded after seven days.

And perhaps that brings me to my final thought about technology: it should make our lives simpler, but far too often it seems to do exactly the opposite.

Cheers :)
