RE: The Architect\'s Desk: Where the Cyberpunk World is Compiled / 架构师的控制台:编译赛博世界

Oh wow.. it does look like there has been a lot of blood, sweat and tears poured into your work at the work area 😅. Ah you are running python there. Are you developing a game? And is that what your server is for? To compile and render? Do you need a lot of CPU and GPU power?

The view outside your window is nice and green, good to rest the eyes after hours of coding 😊. Sorry, I haven't gotten to reading your Cyberpunk World stories yet. Hope to do that soon.

Thank you so much! Yes, looking at the green trees outside definitely helps relax my eyes after staring at the screen for hours. 😊

To answer your questions: I'm not developing a game. I write a lot of custom Python scripts for workflow automation and running my Steemit operations! And yes, the server setup and GPU power are absolutely crucial for rendering. I use an RTX 2060 GPU to run local AI image generation workflows (like ComfyUI). That's actually how I compile and render all the original sci-fi illustrations for my Cyberpunk stories!

And please don't worry about not reading the novel yet—take your time! You are always welcome to drop by whenever you want. Have a wonderful day!

Oo.. wow... you use the servers to render the images, wait.. you run the AI engine locally? What an operation! That is some serious Steemit business 💪Hope you get your returns in due time 🍀How long usually do you need to render an image? I remember many years back when I tried rendering a simple 3D image, it can take hours, sometimes days. But I have forgotten how to do them 😂

Haha, I completely understand the pain of traditional 3D rendering! Fortunately, technology has evolved a lot. Because I run the AI engine locally (using an RTX 2060 GPU), the actual rendering time for a base image is remarkably fast—usually just 10 to 30 seconds!

However, the real "time-consuming" part is building the workflows, adjusting the control nodes, and tweaking the prompts to get the perfect cyberpunk vibe. That trial-and-error process can take hours! Thank you so much for your support and the lucky clovers! 🍀💪

Still, without good prompts, good comments the result will still not be great. Strange how we have something in mind that is never shown by AI...who knows that changes at the time we have that that brain chip (we will not be me, by the way).

Haha, I totally agree! The gap between our imagination and the AI's output is exactly where the human touch comes in. And don't worry, you are not alone—I will definitely pass on the brain chip too! I'd rather keep the cyberpunk tech in my stories, safely away from my own head! 🤣

It was the same with me. Not that it took that long to see a picture, but more to find one I could feel a bit satisfied about.
The trick more lies in the comments (prompts) you give and if AI really shows something new. If not and it is the same shit being served, it is better to ask for something else like generating a picture of an apple - painting Van Gogh style... Or comic.

After a few other prompts the results may be better. Otherwise it is asking to generate a picture while you in the meanwhile: cook, clean, go for a swimm, crochet a coat and bake a bread ...🤣
