Last time you wrote to me that this is typical for Ukraine. But Ukraine is a huge country. In Bulgaria, traditional things can differ even at a distance of only 50 kilometers between settlements. Not to mention settlements from the north, compared to the south, etc.
Yes you're right 🙂. Each region of Ukraine is distinguished by some of its own traditions. I can say with certainty that this method of cooking meat is very common in western Ukraine. Here, almost every owner has such an installation in his yard. Those who live in cities do not have this opportunity. As for central and eastern Ukraine, I am not sure if it is so widespread there.
