If you ask me both apples look good and if you have no pen or ink, let it be and join with what you have. The idea is to draw and make a daily habit out of it. Everyone can, the entire family included from young to old.

The idea is also to do it faster to develop your own style. I am still not good at being fast, but there's no need to see it as a project one has to finish.

You can also use it for a draft, an idea. At the end of the month you will see how great your collection is and how much you improved. Who knows we can all make one painting in November of everything we did?

By the way, my pens always refuse to draw but I can write with them.

What I do like is the dip pen and drawing with a feather.
