Animal Activities #90

This is a story about a dog and a cat. Last week I wrote about the same dog and cat, who were never on good terms, and today is another story about them. Last week, the dog was busy sleeping under a tree when the cat accidentally ran across his tail.
The dog woke up, angrily ran towards the cat, and caught him. He barked at the cat and said Tell me why I shouldn't eat you. Immediately, something whispered to the cat, and he put his hand in the dog's nose and ran away.
The cat didn't plead with the dog; instead, he proved stubborn and ran away. A few days later, the dog fell into a gutter and was seen by the cat struggling to come out of the gutter. As the cat noticed this, he ran home for help and told its owner about what had happened to the dog.
The owner and the cat went to the gutter to rescue the dog, and eventually they did. When the dog came out, he embraced the cat and said, "I never thought someone as small as you could save me by calling for my rescue".
The cat smiled and replied to the dog, "This is why you should never judge someone by his size". From that moment, they both became close friends. They started playing together, eating together, and doing things in common.
