Earlier this week, I went to the Tongi area and came across a shop that stocks essential daily commodities. The shop is named 'Manik Store'. Now let's talk about the product list of the store and their arrangement. Manik General Store is a shining example of how a store can be beautifully decorated even in a limited space. Although the store is not very big, every wall and rack has been used efficiently. Various packaged foods, biscuits and spice packets are beautifully arranged on the main counter and the back rack of the store. The shopping environment was also quite comfortable with the ceiling fan and adequate lighting.

The specialty of the store is its diverse product range. In one section next to the cash counter, there is a collection of cosmetics and personal care products. There were products of different brands of face wash, soap, cream and hair oil. Right next to it were packets of chanachur and snacks which are very popular with children. Moreover, in another section, there was a pile of bottled drinks and juices. Soft drinks like Pepsi Coca-Cola and large size water bottles were also stocked here in sufficient quantity. Moreover, there is more emphasis on packaged food and groceries instead of bulky products like rice, dal or flour. A rack was arranged with piles of eggs and small bottles of juice which helps in meeting the immediate needs of busy customers.

The prices of the products in the store are very affordable and within the budget of the common customers. Mr. Manik said that he always does not compromise on the quality of the products. Almost all the products available here are of well-known brands. Along with shopping, he also takes care that the customers are not harassed. This store is not always crowded, so you can shop without any problems. Especially during the holidays, a significant part of the locals come to shop in this store.
