Beyond the Lenses
A man walks through the corridors of a gallery, carefully observing the paintings he finds most interesting , obviously under his own concept. He looks at this painting and stops, thinking: Artificial Intelligence... I don't think you are so artificial, despite your beautiful appearance.
Beautiful face, the man thinks. Your features tell me of a determined being, ready to help, to share with us humans. Not that being that many want to overshadow. We humans are the ones who give you the capacity for evil; I don't think there is evil in you.
The man moves a little. Strangely, he feels that behind the glasses he is being observed. Wow, is it my imagination, or are you observing me ?
The man approaches again, stands in front of the painting, and says to himself: I will not be influenced by so much news; artificial intelligence is a great help, at least for me. I think it is enough to have a way to control it; it is like in the world , rules, discipline, and everything will be fine. Definitely, you are a help to me, and I appreciate it.

I enjoy reading your account, especially the part about how artificial intelligence depends on humans while we, in turn, rely on these systems; they have become part of our lives. I share your view: a simple off switch is all it takes , that is the subtle nuance you highlight, and that is how it should be. We must be cautious; there are already people who do nothing because AI handles everything. I do not like the idea of becoming obsolete in that way; I value my work and hope it won't be replaced by AI , I cannot imagine one of those systems doing what I do.

I don't know who the artist is; I wander through the corridors of the Palace of the Arts and stop in front of paintings that catch my eye , like this one. In fact, there are many very interesting ones.

I believe that beauty or art lies more in expressing a feeling or idea, and not so much in the way in which that result is obtained. I was recently thinking about the movie Bicentennial Man; maybe the future is about co-existing rather than replacing.
