I had a good laugh the time where people from our region got into some massive argument with those in South Korea. Watching them trolling each other can be so entertaining
It's almost typical for that to happen on social media, taking advantage of the anonymity... Although it will soon end, at least in Europe. But I imagine it will reach us all sooner or later :/
Social media can only get worse with the greedy platforms. They even let those scammers advertise on their site. I almost fell into one for a meat delivery service
That's true! On Facebook especially, you see all kinds of scams advertised even using images of famous people, and they allow it. But if you make a joke that someone considers offensive, your account is restricted immediately.

Is it really that easy to restrict another account? I have been seeing a lot of racist post from my fellow countrymen and yet it's still so rampant
If enough people report your comment, Facebook restricts your account to read-only; there are also words on X that you can't use because they do the same to you.

I didn't know about that. I always had thought that we can only report on the post itself. I think there's also limit of certain words on FB too. I see people flipped the spelling of some words there
Exactly, even on YouTube nobody can say something as simple as, for example, "blood." The positive side of censorship is that it forces the imagination to run wild. 😆

I did saw one using Selena Gomez in the video. Then sometime later I saw the video with different face then only I realized the Selena I saw was a fake
Yes, they do that especially on Facebook because there are usually older people there. My father received a private message from an account pretending to be Keanu Reeves.I imagine he was trying to scam him somehow.

Mr Keanu Reeves is quite popular among the scammers. I had one commenting on my post too.
Someone told me that they would go through our profile and try to get to know everything about us before they approached him. Leaving comments on his posts and chatting him up like what we are doing now. And then they'll strike. Thank goodness he realized something fishy there.
I hope your father didn't fall into their trap.
Yes, and what's questionable is that Facebook supposedly doesn't find out about these things, like someone using the real name of such a famous person!
Luckily nothing happened, my dad doesn't have online bank accounts, fortunately because he tends to download all kinds of things without realizing it.
