RE: The Exquisite Corpse: A Weekly Story Nobody Fully Controls #2
Everyone in this world has their own functions and problems, which we ALL are trying to solve in this life. It's not so important that someone in power reads this, although the classic saying, "God forbid you get dirty with power," only underscores the profound meaning of the problems of human existence as an individual and the paths to self-expression. Look around—other individuals are so interesting if there's an internal interest in external contemplation. Far more often, people are limited by their own ego and personal perception of the world. Principles, tastes, views, positions, passions—all are subordinated to a person's inner world. There's an abyss within, but also an abyss without. A person is a thin membrane perceiving the imprints of reality and trying to change the external, forgetting the causes, which are within everyone, forgotten or neglected.
I believe that gap can be narrowed somewhat through spaces like Steem, where people from all over the world, from different cultures and beliefs, can come together and learn a little more about each other.
